Action A1. Sustainability indicators. Leader: NEIKER
To incorporate environmental, economic and social criteria in order to guide farming practices towards more sustainable production models.
The information generated by the organisations involved and that collected at the CMUs (Crop Management Unit) to make the technical recommendations in the Decision Support Tools (DSTs), must serve as a basis for the calculation of the indices. Furthermore, maps, algorithms, data tables, etc. shall be used to include any additional information required.
For this action, particular attention is to be paid to the development of synthetic indicators: ecological footprint; energy balances; and GHG emissions balance.
